I grew up with their constant care and love. While they’re getting older with grey hair and wrinkles, they never lose dignity in both life and jobs.

From my parents, I have learned that one person can really make a difference. I’ll never forget their care and love. Gratefulness brings a great fullness to life. I wish they could always be happy and healthy. It is high time we expressed our gratitude to people we cherish!

When I was a child, there was only one black and white TV set in our village. And I don’t know what’s computer. I often went to school on foot. What’s more, in summer, we had to use hand-made fans to make our temperature down. If I wanted to connect with the distant friends or relatives, the most convenient way is writing letters, which may lost on the way or take a lot of time to reach the destination.

However, nowadays, there are four color televisons in my home and most people have their own computers. And now cars are seen everywhere. In addition, most houses have airconditioning, which can cool the whole house quickly. With the development of cell phone, people can reach each other in a second. They can talk or see each other through cell phone.

As time passes, my hometown has change a lot thanks to the social development. I believe there will be much more changes in the future.

Bernard Shaw has ever said a word. "Those who have confidence can transform smallness into greatness and make mediocre things look beautiful&39;&39;. In another word, self-confidence is the first step to success. Thus, no matter when and what, we do not allow ourselves to be discouraged. Lin Hao&39;s experience tells us that confidence is very important to us. It also reminds me of my own experience during the first year of senior middle school. After I entered senior school, I found it really hard for me to learn math well. There were so many problems which I didn&39;t understand that I did badly in exams. Both my parents and math teachers believed that I couldn&39;t learn math well. One day I met a difficult problem which took me nearly an hour to work it out. Nonetheless，I realized that I was the only one in my class to work it out! That really built up my confidence in math. Finally I became very good at math and my math teacher was surprised by my progress. It was confidence that helped me overcome the difficulty.

If a person wants to be successful, the first thing to do is to get confidence, as success is the body of confidence.
