時間: 小龍 作文

As is known to all, waste on campus has become a more and more serious problem. We can easily see many students dump a lot of food in the garbage can. Some students spend thousands of yuan buying fashionable clothes and so on.

The negative effects of waste can be shown in the following aspects. In the first place, it makes some students dependent on their parents for money, which is harmful to their development. If they don’t learn to support themselves, they will be “useless people” when they graduate.

In the second place, it is not easy for our parents to arrange for our schooling. Last but not the least important, there is no denying the fact that our country is still poor. There are many people who cannot go to university and many poor people still need our help.

As far as I am concerned, I should set a good example to reduce waste on campus. First of all, I will refrain from wasting anything, from food to stationery. What’s more, I’m determined to call on more schoolmates to fight against waste.

Only through these measures can we hope to reduce waste on campus.

Have you found that there are a small number of students who threw rubbish about after eating their fast food these days. They threw the packing boxes or paper everywhere in the school yard--on the corridor, on flight of steps, under stairs, on the playground, in the lawn, on the bush, under the wall, into the pool and so on…What was worse, some students put the rubbish into others&39; bike-basket. I think it is a bad phenomenon. Not only will it do harm to our health, but also it will do harm to students&39; moral upbringing.

So I think it is necessary for us to do something to put a check on this kind of behavior. We can tell teachers if we see someone who throws the rubbish, or we can go up to him and tell him it is not good to do that.

Such goings on will have to stop!

How many times I have seen a company or organisation habitually waste good food?! Too many times! They are well-meaning people, and they&39;d like to give away the food instead of wasting it by putting it in the dustbin. They&39;d maybe like to give the food to the needy or the poor, and there&39;s probably a few beggars just along the road if anyone was kind enough to go along and see if they are hungry.

So why don&39;t they do it? Reason: Too many stupid rules! Just as surely as there&39;s no pig bin anymore for food to be recycled as pork (because of various illconceived ideas about the health of pigs if they eat other people&39;s sunday lunches and leftovers), there&39;s no "well let&39;s give it to the beggars!".

Apparently, beggars can in theory take the company to court if they are made ill by the food. Not that they are seriously going to be made ill by perfectly good food, and not that most beggars have the money to start a legal case.
